VERA SHUSTER (nee LANDA) Peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Benito Health Centre, Mom passed away at age 84. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Jodie) and Harley (Heather), three grandchildren (Jennifer, Koby and Jordan) and her sister Naomi. Mom was predeceased by Dad (Jerome) in 1996 as well as by her parents (Michael and Luba) and three siblings (Eddie, Dolly and Lou). She was born in Moose Jaw and moved to Winnipeg at a young age. In 1947 she married Dad and moved to Beausejour where she lived until 2000 when her health started to deteriorate. We wish to thank the nurses and staff at the Benito Health Centre for the kind and compassionate care given to Mom. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Chesed Shel Emes, with interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. Family and friends are invited afterwards to Shaarey Zedek Synagogue for the meal of condolence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Benito Health Centre Staff Equipment Fund (Box 490, Benito, Manitoba, R0L 0C0) or to the charity of your choice.
