Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE PEARL SAMUEL (nee HOMENIUK) 1926 - 2007 Peacefully on January 30, 2007, at River Glen Haven in Sutton West, Ontario Grace passed away. Predeceased by her husband Norman Arthur on February 22, 2000 and son-in-law Gary Greening on January 3, 2005. She leaves behind her children, Virginia Greening of Winnipeg, Ian Samuel (Beverley Walsh) of Sutton West, Ontario; grandchildren, Shelley Greening, Shawn Greening (Donna), Pia Samuel; great-grandchildren Christopher and Brendan Johnson, Sarah, Tyler and Linnea Greening; sisters Mary and Violet and relatives in England, United States and Canada. Grace was the middle child of five children born to Nicholas and Katherine Homeniuk and raised on the prairies. Grace married Norman in Manitoba in 1944 and resided in England for two years, after which they moved back to Canada and resided in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Scarborough and for the last 28 years in Keswick, Ontario. Grace moved to River Glen Haven in August, 2006. Grace loved her family, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and knitting. Following Grace's wishes there will be no service and Grace's ashes will be interred with her husband's at a later date in Briar Hill Cemetery in Sutton West, Ontario. Grace was lovingly cared for in the last few years by Ian and Beverley. Forever now at peace
