FRANCES KOZUN (nee MAYDANIUK) Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, Frances died at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 95 years. The loving memory and determined spirit of Frances will be carried on in the hearts of her family members; her daughter Stella Kalynuik (Dan) of Winnipeg; sons, Elioth Alexander (Juliette) of Hillside Beach, Manitoba, Melvin (Sylvia) of Edmonton, Alberta and Ed (Polly) of Chase, British Columbia; one brother Stanley Maydaniuk of Rossburn, Manitoba; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1979, her son John; grandsons, Larry and Dennis; and great-grandson Chad. Frances' funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Avenue (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). A private family interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to all the staff at Unit 2 South at Deer Lodge Centre for all their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' memory to the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3J 0L3.
