Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLORIA (CORKY) GOLDENSTEIN (nee CORMAN) Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Gloria Goldenstein passed away with her family at her side at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2007 at the young age of 62 years. She was predeceased by her father, Louis Corman. She is survived and sadly missed by her loving husband, Georges, her soulmate of 43 years; son Leonard and daughter-in-law Eva; mother Rikla; sister Bev (Harvey); nephew Arnie (Tasha) and family; niece Deborah in Vancouver; aunt Annette and family; aunt Trudy and family in San Francisco; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Cheryl; nephew, David (Janina) and family; nephew, Rick in San Diego; niece Kathy and family; cousins, Teddy, Marie and family; longtime best friends, Reeva, Eli and family; close family friends, Fae, Ari and Carl; many family members living in France; and numerous other friends. The funeral was held on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Chesed Shel Emes. Pallbearers were David Goldenstein, Eli Hiller, Sid Minuk, Hillel Kravetsky, Ari Simon and Paul Zaidman. Interment was at the Rosh Pina Memorial Park. The family would like to thank all who attended the memorial services. As well, the family expresses its gratitude to the medical staff in 4U5 at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their help and compassion in bringing comfort to Gloria during her stay. To emulate her love for animals, friends and family are invited to send memorial donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3.
