JOSEPH GAY It is with great sadness that the siblings of Joseph Gay announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Central Park Lodge Parkview Place Personal Care Home at the age of 78 years. Remaining to forever cherish Joe's memory are his four sisters; one brother; and three nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother. Born in Poland, Joe came to Canada at the age of five years. He grew up on the family farm and attended Victoria Public School in the Stonewall area. Joe worked in Winnipeg and for a pulp and paper mill in the Geralton, Ontario area. He later moved to Edmonton where he worked for many years as a construction worker in the Ft. McMurray area. Joe retired and moved back to Winnipeg in 1990. Joe will be missed by all who knew him. A private family graveside service will be held later this year in the Transcona Cemetery. Sincere thanks to the staff at Central Park Lodge Parkview Place Personal Care Home for the kindness and care shown towards Joe. Goodbye Joe Your spirit will always be near.
