  • By the way, the funniest moment that I recall of Vic was when I took him into the RRCC Radio Campus Broadcast Studio and put some headphones on him in a sound proof studio and let him hear his own voice. The look on his face was hilarious as he couldn't believe what he actually sounded like. He didn't talk much, just kept saying "testing" wondering if something would change or happen. Maybe that's why he remained so soft spoken for the rest of his life. - Posted by: Les Jankiewicz (friend) on: Jul 18, 2022

  • I met Vic in 1973 at RRCC,,, after completing his hair styling course, he became my stylist until 1981 when my wife (married -1979) and I moved from Wpg to Dphn after the passing of my mother at 58 (lung cancer). So the last time Vic would have cut my hair was 1980. After my appointment, we went to a specialty chicken restaurant on Pembina Highway for supper,,,, and the last time that I would have had contact with Vic until I read this obituary just the other day (2022). I had heard from my sister-in-law (hair stylist in Wpg - Vito's) that Vic worked at a hair shop in Osborne Village with a lady owner who later passed away from kidney disease. My wife passed away in 2014 (lung cancer),,, seems like the good ones leave too soon. Hope you get my message,,,, take care, Les - Posted by: Les Jankiewicz (friend) on: Jul 17, 2022
