Mom was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Pauline and Irene; her brother Bill and her son William. She is survived by her brother Harry; her sister Christine and her lifelong friend Shirley Manson. Mom was born on April 1, 1929 in Gonar, MB. Mom married Dad on October 29, 1946 in Ile des Chenes, MB. She was very proud of her flower beds and proudly showed them to all who would come and look. She was a home maker, worked at the Niakwa Comesary and a sewing factory in Winnipeg. Mom also worked on the family farm. We all enjoyed her delicious home cooked meals that always included everyone's favourite dish, especially her perogies. Mom loved going to Bingo with her friends, knitting and doing things for her grandchildren. She never missed listening to Ukrainian music on the radio on Saturday nights with Dad. Mom's never ceasing love and care for her husband, children and grandchildren will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. May God be with us all. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the nurses and nurses aid for their compassion and care, and to Green Acres for taking care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral service will be held Monday, February, 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy.
