DENNIS MAURICE O'ROURKE 1928 2007 Our husband, father, Papa, uncle and friend has left us to be united with God on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Rolande (Lavigne); his children, Mark (Rita), Susan (Demetro) Danyluk, Donald (Jennifer), Richard (Lise) and Louise (Daniel) Boulet; his grandchildren, Meghan, Krystan, Sean, Laura, Kiah, Allison, Emily, Ryan, Preston, Caelan, Danielle, Benoît, Stéphane who will lovingly remember their Papa ; his sisters Elizabeth Mosely-Williams and Eunice West, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Annie Melinda and Maurice, his brothers, Charles, Frank, Ernest, Bernard, Lawrence and his sister Mary Milling. Dennis graduated from St. Paul's High School and worked for the C.N.R. and Via Rail until his retirement in 1983. He also dedicated his time as a school trustee for the Seine River School Division and Treasurer for the United Transportation Union. He volunteered frequently at church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Thank you to the Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate and tender care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9. Prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday February 18, 2007, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Viewing will be held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 19 at the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy.
