CECIL COHOE Peacefully, with family at his side, Cecil Cohoe of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away at the age of 94 on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home. Cecil was predeceased by his wife Marcella (Davis), brothers Earl and Dan, and sister Vera Dingwall. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Ben, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and in-laws. Cecil was born on the family farm in the Clearsprings area on January 29th, 1913. He and his wife Marcella operated a farm near Giroux Manitoba for a number of years, eventually moving into Giroux where they spent many happy years together. In later years, Cecil and Marcella moved into Steinbach, where they resided at Fernwood Place. Cecil enjoyed getting together with friends for coffee, and was frequently spotted around town enjoying the company of friends and family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Rest Haven Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care given to Cecil. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfield Drive, Steinbach, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20th.
