STANLEY KOLENCH Peacefully with his sisters by his side, on February 16, 2007, Stan Kolench, beloved son, dad and Gee-Gee, passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 68. He is survived by his mom Ann; daughters, Darlene (Derrick), Arlene (Greg), Sharlene (Mike); son Eugene; grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Matthew, Samantha and Nicholas, honorary grandchild Sophia. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers, Wally (Ann), Ed, Eugene (Shirley); sisters, Phyllis (Ken), Lorraine (Jim); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father William in 1979. Stan was born in Elphinstone, MB on April 23, 1938. He was self-employed in construction for many years and was a very hard worker. He had a great sense of humour. Stan thoroughly enjoyed his daily outings to meet his friends at the coffee shop. His passion in life was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3E for their kindness and compassion for Stan The Man. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
