INCARNATION (BABE) LOUNSBURY 1918 - 2007 It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Babe, beloved wife of Arthur Lounsbury, mother of Linda and son-in-law Doug Davidson, stepmother to Bonnie Alexander and grandmother to Kelly Davidson who passed away on February 17, 2007 at Deer Lodge Centre. Babe, the youngest of The Fernandez Girls famous for their great beauty and generous spirits was born July 3, 1918 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. A devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt, she derived great joy from her special relationship with granddaughter Kelly, of whom she was especially proud. She was predeceased by her sisters, Della, Mary and Rose and was most happy spending time with her family. She worked at Manitoba Telephone for many years and prided herself in the simple pleasures of home and family. Upon their retirement, Babe and Art enjoyed travel, the close companionship of one another and the company of their many friends and neighbours at the Brantwood Estates. Cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, The Arthritis Society or The Huntington Society in Babe's memory. The family wishes to thank Ron and Carol Scott and their children as well as Teri Houde and Doreen Frame for all their help during the past year. They also want to express their gratitude to Dr. N. Rush and Dr. S. Mink for their compassion and care. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
