RONNIE (RON) COUGNON Ron Cougnon, aged 55 years, beloved husband of Cindy, of Beausejour, MB, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 15, 2007. Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his family: son Scott and daughters, Dana and Nichole. He will also be missed by his son Danny and family; his father George; his two sisters, Betty (Matt DesJarlais) and Joyce Rudy (Neill); his in-laws, Dan and Lillie Rosentreter, also numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Louise Cougnon on October 23, 1990 and brother-in-law Alfred Hiebert on December 26, 2002. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel with Pastor Mark Koenker officiating. The service will terminate at the chapel and cremation will follow. Active Pallbearers will be Neill Kernaghan, Matt DesJarlais, Lloyd Rosentreter, Gordon Rosentreter, Fred Rosentreter and Tim Rosentreter. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Popiel, Vern Jorgenson and Bill Shedden. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Ronnie's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
