EILEEN MARGARET VOKEY (nee MORIN) Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eileen Vokey, passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre at age 79 years. Eileen leaves to mourn her daughters, Cindy of Winnipeg, Deborah of Calgary, Liz of Vancouver, four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In her younger years, Eileen had been an active member of St. Mary Magdalene Church, but the love and support of the congregation remained with her over the years. Eileen greatly appreciated the loving care and support of her daughter Deborah, and her valued friendships, especially Lyle, Don and Daryl. Family visitation and viewing will be held Thursday evening between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. Funeral service to be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 3 St. Vital Road with interment following. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
