LYNDA MARGARET HAUSE (nee WORTHINGTON) Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with C.O.P.D., Lynda Hause passed away with her family at her side, at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Lynda was predeceased by her father David and by her mother Charlotte. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her loving husband and soulmate, Ken; her children, Todd (Theresa), Kurtis (Jennifer) and Kristin (Jamie) and granddaughter Hayley; as well as two brothers, David and Donald Worthington. Lynda was born on February 16, 1943 in Winnipeg. Her career included working for Rexart Graphics, Magnecord Graphics, the Department of Education and Windsor Plywood. Lynda enjoyed curling and golf, as well as time spent at the cottage at Betula Lake. Her most important task in life was raising her children, whom she dearly loved and provided guidance to, throughout their youth and adolescence. Lynda loved animals and was continually sneaking strays into the house and found some way to justify keeping them. Lynda's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the I.C.U. of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their help and compassion in making Lynda as comfortable as possible in her final hours. A memorial celebration of Lynda's life will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 23 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road with Ron McLean officiating. The service will end in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Lynda's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
