Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSINA (ROSE) KULY (nee KENDEL) It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of our mom, grandmother and great-grandmother Rose Kuly on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Mom left us to join her true love John, of 55 years. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Janet (late Lawrence) Tomczak, son Brian and wife Cheryl Kuly. Grandchildren, Greg (Gail) Tomczak, Kurt (Jodi) Tomczak, Darcy (Derek) Routledge, Kelly-Ann (Christopher) Morrison, and Krista Kuly. Great-grandchildren, Ryan, Renee and Jessica Tomczak, Kayla, Mitchel and Haley Tomczak, Connor and Grace Routledge and Rachel Morrison. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband John. Parents Elizabeth Klepsch and Valentine Kendel; sisters, Carrie, Katie, Lillian, Eva and Betty. Brothers, Henry, Jack, Philip and Harold. Son-in-law Lawrence Tomczak. Rose was born in Winnipeg on December 22, 1919. She grew up in Elmwood and Birds Hill. She met her sweetheart John at the farmers market on Main Street in Winnipeg. Rose and John were married July 14, 1940 and resided in St. Andrews. They were market gardeners and later had green houses where they sold plants and vegetables at the famed Three Strawberry Stand , until their retirement. Rose enjoyed traveling, going camping, fishing and bowling, as well as Yahtzee nights and Bingo. Her greatest enjoyment was being with her family. Mom was a great cook and we all received our share of Perogie's, Holopchi's and Peroski (Thanks, Mom!). Many thanks to the Maples Personal Care Home and Staff for the excellent care during the short time she was there. The family wishes to give special thanks to Rev. Karl Koslowsky and Dr. Gorski. Viewing will take place on February 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Memorial service will take place on February 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers are her Grandchildren, Greg and Kurt Tomczak, Darcy Routledge, Kelly-Ann Morrison Krista Kuly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. In Gods Hands She Rests.
