GLENN BRUCE CHAPMAN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend, Glenn Chapman, on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at the age of 53 years, at the Health Sciences Centre. Glenn was born in Winnipeg, MB, on April 14, 1953. He worked with Pacific Western Airlines and Canadian Airlines International, and then for a short while with Air Canada. Most recently he worked SkyPro Aviation Services, with a group he liked and respected, and who were friends. Glenn was kind, thoughtful, helpful and compassionate. He cared for people and he enjoyed life. He was a good son, brother and uncle, and a well-loved friend to many. He loved his cottage at Lake of the Woods but sadly did not get to enjoy it much over the last two years because of illness. Glenn was predeceased by his father, Jim. He is survived by his mother, Ina; his brother Duane and his wife Carol and their two daughters, Miranda and Allison of Winnipeg; and his brother Allan and his children, Chloe and Thomas of Victoria, BC; and his dog Max. Glenn will be sadly missed. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the GH5 Ward of the Health Sciences Centre. At his request, he has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 26. The family gratefully declines flowers, but anyone who wishes to make donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 in Glenn's name. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home And Reception Centre 885-9715

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I am sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. I worked with Glenn, from 1996 to 2001, first with Canadian Airlines and then with Air Canada. I enjoyed working with him, and enjoyed his sense of humour . I am sure that he will be missed by all who knew him. God bless and keep him. - Posted by: Kim Tinkler (Co-Worker) on: Feb 22, 2007
