ERICH MEINERS Suddenly on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Victoria Hospital, Erich Meiners passed away at the age of 79 years. Erich will be sadly missed by wife Elfriede; children, Ralph (Valerie), Irene (Stuart) Dobie and Ronald; grandchildren, Wendy (Drew), Martina (Kurt), Tara (friend Kirk), Travis, and Tyler (friend Carly); great-grandson Landon, and many family members in Germany as dear friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Erich's memory to Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Arthritis Society. The family extends their sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their wonderful care.
