Poetker, 93, of Steinbach, formerly of New Bothwell passed away at the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home on February 20, 2007. He is survived by his wife Agatha (nee Unger); sons Ernie (Shirley) and Leonard (Barb); daughters, Shirley (Ron) Schultz, Linda (George) Mychasiw, Esther Wiebe and their families. He was predeceased by one son-in-law Sheldon Wiebe and one grandson Harlen Reimer. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach, MB with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
