ROSEMARY BRACKEN Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, in her 90th year, Rosemary Bracken went to join Douglas, her beloved husband of 60 years. She is survived by her son John, his wife Maureen and their children, Shannon and Allison; son Douglas Jr; daughter Susan; son Michael, his wife Darlene and their children, Jennifer (Randy), Kyle and Kevin; and adopted grandson Cam Lirondelle, his wife Shannon and their children, Abby and Ainsley; her sister Jocelyn Lemon; her brother Bill McWilliams and his wife Jean; her brother-in-law Gordon Bracken and his wife, Ruth; sister-in-law Pat Bracken; special cousins, Fran and Lois Bowles and Mabel Sexsmith. She will also be remembered by lifelong friends, Patti Condo, Pat Lindsay and Toots MacArthur, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Waiting at Heaven's gates to welcome her besides Doug, were her parents, Harry and Pearl McWilliams; sister Jean Kilgour and husband Jack; brothers-in-law, Edward Lemon, Bruce Bracken and his wife Shirley, and George Bracken and his wife Marjorie. Specials thanks to Dr. Sheila Domke, the Home Care girls, especially Cynthia, foot care nurse Lynn, the girls at Last Tangle, especially Theresa, her hairdresser for more than 40 years, Tom Starr at the Sals for his wonderful service over the years, and to Thelma for her years of faithful service. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2 at St. Andrew's River Heights Church, Oak and Kingsway. Flowers gratefully declined.
