MAURICE (TIM) JOHN PANKHURST October 1, 1933 - February 22, 2007 Tenterden, Kent After a courageous battle with leukemia, our husband, father, sibling, grandfather, uncle and friend left us to be united with his beloved dog Bambi and with God on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 73 years. Maurice was predeceased by his loving mother Florence Kate; father John Thomas, and brother Barry. Remaining to forever cherish Maurice's memory are his loving wife Vicky Macapagal Pankhurst; children, Peter (Brenda), David (Gwen), Maureen (Glen), Garth and Ruffini (Andy); grandchildren, Grant (Lori), Rebecca, Raymond and David; siblings, Pam, Tom, Charlie, and Chris; brothers-in-law, Rufino (Legring) Macapagal, Dick (Dory) Macapagal and sisters-in-law, Pastora (Alex - deceased) Alexanian, and Ada (Bernie) Ubungin, as well as other family members and friends. Maurice's presence will be greatly missed, his lending hand and passion for life. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors, nurses and other staff of the Palliative Care at Riverview Health Care Centre. A special thanks also goes to nurse Maureen of St. Boniface Hospital.
