FLORENCE MAY CASSON (nee COMBERACH) March 11, 1912 February 17, 2007 Peacefully, on February 17, 2007, with family at her side. Predeceased by her first husband Austin West; son Bill Casson; second husband Fred Casson, and son-in-law Steve Slobodzian. Florence enjoyed her crafts, knitting, crocheting, and sewing till the very last. Survived by her two daughters, Irene Peggie (Jack), and Pat Slobodzian, 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the McCrorie-West Family Fellowship for Alzheimer Research, Department of Private Funding, 179 Continuing Education Complex, University of Manitoba, 66 Chancellors Circle, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2N9. The family wishes to send a special Thank You to the staff at Lion's Place and Oakview Extended Care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2 at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue, at 2:00 p.m. To paraphrase Robert Munsch I'll love you forever I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living My Grandma you'll be.
