RAYMOND ARTHUR BEDWELL 1917 - 2007 Ray passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in Langley, BC having reached his goal of celebrating his 90th year. Ray was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. After the war, he started his sales career selling door to door with Watkins Products then moved on to become a successful insurance salesman with Metropolitan Life. In 1993 he moved to Langley BC. Ray will be missed by his wife Sylvia; his buddies in Winnipeg and his many friends in Langley where he and Sylvia started the local Walking Club - Hearts in Motion. He will be missed by his fellow golfers, cribbage partners and all those that enjoyed the unique hospitality lovingly offered by Ray and Sylvia. By his request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, Ray and Sylvia kindly request any donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
