NATHAN JOHN GRAY Peacefully on February 16 in Calgary, AB, Nathan J. Gray, aged 23 years, passed away. Nathan was born October 5, 1983 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and at the age of two became ill and spent the next 21 years battling this illness. In 1991 Nathan moved to Calgary, Alberta where he lived until his death. While in Calgary, Alberta he received much love and caring support from his grandparents, Henry and Geraldine Eckert, and the many care-givers who made his life very fulfilling. Nathan fought his last courageous battle beginning February 8, 2007 and went home to be with the Lord, February 16, 2007. Nathan will be missed, but we know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus. Nathan is survived by his father, John Gray and his wife Carmela; his mother, Bonnie Eckert-Duquette and her husband Jack; his sisters, Heather, Daryl and Jill; his grandparents, Fred and Mary Gray and Henry and Geraldine Eckert; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nathan's honour to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE501 - 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 1S1.
