MARGARET ELLEN BUCHANAN (nee GRANT) 1921 - 2007 Ellen died peacefully on February 26, 2007 at West Park Manor in Winnipeg. A long-time employee of the Winnipeg #1 School Division, she loved interacting with kids. Good music of every kind was thoroughly enjoyed and she played the piano, organ, bells and sang in many choirs. She was very interested and involved in the theological community and made her talents available preparing and delivering services, working on and chairing a variety of committees, and teaching Sunday School. Words and reading were of particular importance. Mom - Nannie - Auntie Ellen is survived by her children, Grant (Linda), Doreen (Robin), Roger (Linda), five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. We will remember her hugs and hold her in our hearts always. A remembrance service will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (Aubrey Street entrance) on Friday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association (Manitoba/ Nunavit Region); The Arthritis Society (Manitoba Division); or an organization of your choice.
