Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT JOHN ALVIN KRAUSHAR 1925 - 2007 Suddenly, on Monday, February 26, 2007, Rob passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital, with his wife, son and pastor present. Rob was born June 6, 1925, the youngest of eight children of George and Theresa Kraushar of Dugald, MB. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Audrey (nee Curtis); son Earl and his wife June and their sons, Bryce, Dwayne and Evan of Winnipeg; daughter Janis Connors of Ottawa; sister Florence (Steve) Miller of Nanaimo, BC; brother Wilfred of Dugald; sister-in-law Aileen Kraushar of Kelowna; foster children, Lillian Olmstead of Courtice, ON and Gordon Harper of Grande Prairie, AB and their families; and long-time lunch pal Art Clay; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Most of Rob's working life was spent in the manufacture of materials handling equipment. After his family, highlights of Rob's life were getting his private pilot's license at age 51 and later motorcycling with his good friend Abe Wall, who predeceased him. The family wishes to thank Pastor Jeff Potts and Dr. Rex Sokolies for their care and concern. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the Henderson Highway Adventist Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. with Pastor Jeff Potts officiating. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
