JIM WHITTINGTON October 28, 1939 - February 26, 2007 After a courageous battle with cancer, and with his family at his side, Jim passed away peacefully. He is survived by his loving wife Roseline; seven boys, Kirk (Susan), Kevin (Heather), David (Debbie), Art (Laurel), Al (Kellie), Bill, Mike (Cheryl); grandchildren, Justin, Arron, Kyle, Sean, Devon, Morgan, Jesse, Kelsey, Emily, Alex, Alyssa, Travis and Kaitlyn, along with many nieces and nephews; sisters, Joyce (Bob) and Dorothy; brother Robert (Rose); mother-in-law Dorothy Garland; brother-in-law Donald (Marion). He was predeceased by his parents Louise and Fred Whittington. The family wishes to thank Dr. Loudon of Teulon, Dr. West and Dr. Schroeder of Health Sciences Centre, Vera Appleyard of Palliative care and home care workers and nurses of Teulon Hospital; Rem Weiss and Senior Resource Centre. Jim worked 19 years for Manitoba Hydro and upon retirement, enjoyed his time as the Mayor of the Big Whiteshell Camp Ground, and enjoying time with his many grandchildren, family and friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre.
