LAURAINE BUSSELL (nee ANDRIES) It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lauraine Bussell, surrounded by the love of her family, at Victoria General Hospital on February 27, 2007, at the age of 81 years. Lauraine was predeceased by her husband Frank Bussell in 1997, her beloved mother Suzane, sister Germaine and her pet cat Wizzy. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jo-Ann and husband Lloyd, Fran and husband Hart and Leslie, sister Irene, brother Alec and numerous nieces and nephews. Lauraine was born in Mariapolis, MB on October 14, 1925. She met Frank and they married in 1946, and had 50 wonderful years together. Lauraine was a committed homemaker. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends knitting, doing crossword puzzles and shopping on the shopping channel. In keeping with Lauraine's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. The family would like to thank the staff on 5 north at the Victoria Hospital and a special thank you to Heather for her care and compassion.
