GERTRUDE STUPAK Passed away peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, Guelph, ON on Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Gertrude Stupak, in her 85th year, was the beloved daughter of the late Julian and Rose Stupak, late of Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Polson of Winnipeg, and was predeceased by eight siblings. Gertrude will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call at the Gilbert MacIntyre Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, on Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Vigil for Gertrude will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Winnipeg, at a later date. As per Gertrude's wishes, flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
