Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN MARY ERICKSON August 3, 1918 February 28, 2007 Peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with Matte, the love of her life, who predeceased her in 1999. Left to treasure her memory are her four beloved children, Trudy (Andy), Marlene (Roger), Susan (Ron), Eric (Angie) and one sister Doris of BC. She is also survived by grandchildren, Peter, John, Jamie, Gina, Rodi, Rick, Jason, Benjee, Jennifer, Andrea, Matt, Kyle, Kristen; as well as 14 great-grand-children. Eileen was employed with Eatons in the jewelry department for many years, and then went on to McCullough Drugs prior to her retirement. Eileen was a lady of many talents, including sewing, knitting, and cooking. She was known for her unique sense of humour. To know her was to love her as she could always bring a smile to your face. Her generosity was exceeded by none. A special thanks to all the staff at the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home for taking such good care of our mom. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East and Navin Road with Rev. Janet Walker presiding. Urn placement will follow in the columbarium at Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, would be greatly appreciated.
