Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTHER BOURKE Sadly on February 27, 2007 Esther passed away surrounded by her family. Born in Brighton, England on March 23, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband John; son Bradley; her parents, Fred and Martha Murray; brother Ron; sisters, Violet and Kathy. She will be fondly remembered and forever missed by daughters, Barbara (Ray Beernaerts), Bev (Rolly Gauthier); sons, Murray (Yvette) and Jay (Monique); grandchildren, Michael, Bryon, JoAnn, Ken, Dan, Ian, Charise, Adam, Kody, Jaymee and Dru; and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Les (Peggy), Ken; sisters, Freda (Ernie) and Elizabeth (Bob); sisters-in-law, Eunice and Doreen; dear friends, Belva Seivalk and Larry Francis. Esther came to Canada in 1944 as John's bride. She resided in St. Boniface, Headingley and lastly in Charleswood. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always had a big hug and kiss for everyone. She spent summers at her cottage in Vermillion Bay, where she warmly welcomed family and friends. She enjoyed knitting, reading collecting angels, Friday shopping with Freda and afternoon tea on her deck swing watching sunsets and listening to her precious loons. She will be remembered for her generous nature, which she bestowed upon everyone. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff on Ward 3 East Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amputations of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 125-1625 Dublin Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0W3 or Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9.
