MILDRED (GWEN) BAUMAN (nee MORROW) 1937 - 2007 Gwen was born February 25, 1937, to Alvin and Mildred Morrow at Misericordia Hospital, Winnipeg. Gwen attended Kelvin High School, entered Misericordia Nursing School, January 1956 and graduated February 1959. Gwen met Clarence in June of 1956 and were married in March 28, 1959. Gwen loved her job and her children and grandchildren, sports, especially hockey and ringette and coached many father and son games. Gwen was a brownie leader, loved swimming in our pool, going camping in our trailer and going to the West Coast. Gwen will be sadly missed by her husband Clarence; her sons, Darcy, Craig (Linda), Grant; and daughter Lisa (Rick); grandchildren, Chantal, Travis, Devin, Rebecca and great-granddaughter Gracie and her brother John (Jerri). The family would like to thank the staff on River East Personal Care Home, Charity Ward. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, March 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere, in the chapel with a recpetion to follow. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren. Interment will take place following the reception at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.
