JOHN WELLS John Wells died peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on February 28, 2007, at the age of 83 years. John was predeceased by both his parents, Anna Wells (nee Nosal) and Peter Wells. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Olga Wozniak; niece Sandra Malcheski; as well as cousins and numerous friends. John was born in Pawliw, Western Ukraine on January 19, 1924. His father Peter came to Winnipeg first to get settled and make a home for his family. Anna and the children joined him in 1933. John worked at many different jobs in his lifetime, from delivering Pepsi to the Interlake Region with his father to owning a restaurant. Due to his frugal ways he was able to retire at an early age. John lived a full life and made many friends. We would like to thank Dr. I. Kahnanovitch and the nurses on 6A at the St. Boniface Hospital for their patience, care and understanding, as well a special thank you to Rose Klowak for her kindness. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
