Frank Sandor It is with great sadness we, the family, announce the passing on February 20, 2007, of our dear husband and father, at the age of 73. He was born in Kiskunhalas Hungary and came to Canada in 1957. Frank worked 37 years with Winnipeg Photo Ltd. from which he retired in 1996. He returned to part-time employment with the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation at McPhillips Street Station. Frank passionately enjoyed his ten years' service at the casino and took great pride in his work. Frank will be remembered for his generosity, gentleness, kindness to others and sense of humor. He was predeceased by his parents and brother; and is survived by his wife Ilona; son Jim and daughter-in-law Deborah. He will also be mourned by his extended family in Hungary and all those who have come to know him. Frank was a loving, devoted husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his family for his compassion, lightheartedness and integrity. In keeping with Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private gathering for family and close friends was held on February 23. The family extends special thanks to the Winnipeg Paramedic Service and Seven Oaks General Hospital Emergency staff. Also, thank you to all those who attended the get-together. Donations in memory of Frank Sandor may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. in our hearts, you will live forever
