ELSIE PARANIA LYWAK 1921 2007 Elsie passed away at the age of 85 years, at the Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg, MB, on Tuesday, February 27, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband William on August 7, 1999; her father George Kowalyk on December 9, 1931; her mother Jennie (Ksenka) Kowalyk on May 2, 1967; brothers, Mike on July 31, 1986, and William on June 16, 1996; sisters, Annie Nahuliak on January 8, 1975, and Mary Gregorash on December 28, 1954; and grandson Kevin Kenneth Lywak on February 24, 1994. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence (Shirley) and Ken (Debbie); daughters, Elizabeth (Wayne) Archer and Laurie (Brian) Parker; grandsons, Lance (Denise), Shane, Gary (Cathie); granddaughter Andrea Staple; great-grandsons, Evan and Kevin. Mom loved cooking and was an excellent baker. She enjoyed preparing many wonderful Sunday dinners for her family, over the years. Mom also loved knitting, crocheting, gardening and her flowers. Thank you to Percy E. Moore Hospital, Murvin Abas, Eriksdale Personal Care Home and Golden West Centennial Lodges. May God richly bless and reward all of your efforts. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Thank you to Fisher Funeral Home for all of your help and assistance. Most of all the other things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets and rainbows, brothers, sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one Mother in the whole world. We love you Mom. You will always be alive in our hearts.
