GLORIA EVANS It is with deepest sympathy that the children announce the peaceful passing of their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Gloria Evans on March 2, 2007 at the Middlechurch Nursing Home. She is predeceased by her husband Walter in 1986. Mom is lovingly remembered by her children, Brian (Sharon), Lyle (Lorraine), Barry (Eleanor), Glen (Deborah), Lori (Ken), Duane (Heather); 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Elsie and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she was also devoted to her management position with Reitman's for 20 years. During her retirement years, she took up and enjoyed oil painting. She also enjoyed watching and following figure skating. Special thanks to the staff on D2 at the Middlechurch Nursing Home for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Unit 10 - 120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Rev.
