Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY LOUISE TWOHEART (nee SWAMPY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Shirley Louise on March 2, 2007, aged 56 years. Shirley was born March 31, 1950 in Fort Alexander. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her common-law husband Gibril Couteh; her children, Frankie (Deanna), Wesley (Justine), Dinah (Melvin), Lance (Desiree), Colleen; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her brother Wilfred (Linda); sisters, Katherine (Adolph), Margaret (Pete), Hilda; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean Baptiste and Isabel Swampy; brother Gabriel Sr. Swampy; daughters, Cynthia and Cheryl Twoheart and nephew Gerald Swampy. Shirley was a kind and gentle woman, who loved to laugh. She had a smile that would brighten any room that she entered. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. A wake service was held at Margaret Bunn's residence at 651 North Shore, Sagkeeng First Nation, Monday, March 5, 2007 with funeral services on Friday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church. Her Pallbearers will be her nephews, Clayton Courchene, Mark Alexander, Dwayne Twoheart, Dale Swampy, Harley Starr, Gabriel Jr. Swampy, Jed Swampy and her son-in-law Melvin Sanderson. My memory of you will never fade. You were always there for my brothers, cousins and I. You were the matriarch of the family and held us all together as a family unit. I really miss you. I love you alot. I will forever cherish the memories of you in my heart. Watch over the family and I. I’ll keep you in my prayers.
