ALBERT MOMAN November 5, 1933 - March 6, 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend Albert Moman on March 6, 2007 at Eriksdale General Hospital. Leaving the following with beautiful memories are his wife Lorna, and his children, Alberta (Bernie) Stoneham, Noblee (Shane) Elliott, Dallas Moman; grandchildren, Lisa (Trevor) Sund, Jennine Elliott (Travis), Renee Stoneham (Andrew), Chelsea Elliott and great-granddaughter Annika Sund; sister Joan Deverill of Edmonton, AB; as well the many friends in which he gathered through the years. Albert was born in Ashern and grew up in the Heartfield area just west of Eriksdale. From there he worked on the farm until he met Lorna Bobier. They travelled to Winnipeg where he began work at Griffiths Diamond Drilling Company, where he worked in various provinces and territories across Canada. On May 9, 1958, Lorna and Albert wed, and moved back to Eriksdale where they began their life together as parents, and farmers. Albert was a cheerful person, who loved farming, spending time with friends, and family. His eyes could light up a room and he enjoyed many occasions where he could dance the night away. Albert was also a very fair and honest person, who was always willing to help out a friend in need. Some of his favourite gatherings were with his family and recently his first and only great-grandchild. If you spent any time with Albert you would drink a lot of coffee and play a few rounds of cards. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for use in the Palliative Care Unit, Box 130, Eriksdale, MB. Honorary Pallbearers will be Earl Bobier, Siegfried Engelberg, John Brown, Dennis Ammeter, Russell Andrews, and George Andrews. The family would like to thank the community for their incredible support, and a very special thanks to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Staff for the hard work they did to make Albert as peaceful as possible. We would also like to thank Arnason's Funeral Home and Pastor Bill Watson for the arrangements. We would like to thank friends, community, and well-wishers for their caring and endless support. Arrangements by: Arnason Funeral Homes Ltd. Ashern - Lundar (204) 768-2072
