LOIS DAWN LORRAINE HALL (LORRAINE HALABISKI) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our sister Lois (Lorraine) on February 21, 2007, in Edmonton, Alberta. Lois was born August 25, 1959, in Winnipeg Manitoba. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Michelle Perry (David) and Judith Hrabinski (Adam). She also leaves to mourn Pierre and Zeus, her cats, who gave her great pleasure through their unending love and companionship. Lois spent many enjoyable years working for Manitoba Lotteries at Club Regent. There she made many friends, staff and patrons alike. She was a very generous and caring person, always giving much more than she ever took. In her youth, it was not unusual for her to bring home stray animals. In adulthood this trait was extended to caring for many others who needed a hand up. All who knew her will remember Lois' smile and her wonderful laugh. Dear Lois, you only saw the best in people and always had hope for good things. The world will forever be a better place because you walked it. You are dearly missed. At Lois' request a memorial service will not be held. If you wish, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in her memory.
