MAUDE NELLIE STEIP (nee BELLMORE) Peacefully, at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, on Monday, March 5, 2007, at the age of 101. Lovingly remembered by son Frank; granddaughter Cathy Omeniuk (Dean), grandson Donnie (Joanne); great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Derrick and Clinton Omeniuk as well as Hannah Steip. Predeceased by her husband Donald; son Gordon; daughter-in-law Patricia; seven sisters and one brother. Maude was born at Pike Bay, Ontario, and spent most of her life in Wiarton, Ontario, before moving to Winnipeg to be close to her family. She was a proud and active member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was blessed with a wonderful sharp memory and was a solid reference for past happenings in her family. Her guidance and sage advice will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend its sincere heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Concordia Hospital for their care during the past few weeks. Funeral service will take place Friday, March 9, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. in Winnipeg. Interment will be at a later date following cremation.
