EMMA ANDERSON (nee LEIBERT, OSIS) Emma Anderson (nee Leibert, Osis) of Belair, MB, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 2, 2007. Emma was born on November 24, 1913. She lived in Bird River, MB, and talked about her love for and musical times with her brothers and sisters. Predeceased by Peter (Wilma) Osis, Anna McPuroff, Milda (Charlie) Verscheure, Selma (John) Donner, Ella (Andrew) Mathews, August (Mary) Osis and Charlie Osis. In 1929 Emma married Charlie Libert and moved to Latvia. In 1932 they returned to live in Bird River. Four years following the death of Charlie, Emma moved the family to St. James. Emma married Art Anderson in 1958 and settled in Selkirk. Following Art's death in 1978 Emma returned to Winnipeg and after moved to Belair when she required assistance to care for herself. Emma is survived by her children and stepchildren, Clifford (Lucille) Leibert, Rita Jacobsen; Dawn MacFarlane, Brian Anderson, Doug (Marilyn) Anderson; grandchildren, Ken Jacobsen, Audrey (John) Wilgosh, Colleen (Joby) Brooks, Charles Leibert, Lawrence (Andrea) Leibert, Erin Blahtka, Lori MacFarlane, Gord MacFarlane, Donna Jacobsen, Michelle Anderson, Keith Jacobsen, Janice Jacobsen, Laurel Leibert, Kim Jacobsen; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer, Jason, Tova, Jillian, Jessica, Mathew, Jenelle and Dakota; as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by Ron Jacobsen, Bruce Jacobsen, Mac MacFarlane, Dorothy Anderson. We gratefully appreciate the support of the Beaches Homecare staff. Their care, concern and friendship made quality of life a reality for Emma - Debbie Hawranik, Bev Atkin, Brigette Budgell, Rita Oltoff, Shirley Schlag, Anne Green, Ettie Chubaty, Shannon Trainor and Karen Paige. Bless you all. Emma cherished every day of her life and all the people in it. All that knew her endeared Emma. Her fondest memories were of her life in Bird River. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Bird River cemetery.
