CAROLINE AMELIA MARIE BROWN (nee ROBIDOUX) 1943 2007 It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Carol Brown. She leaves behind Robert (Bob) Brown and their daughter Jennifer and granddaughter Monique (age nine), daughter Rhonda (Shawn) Dorosh and their two boys, Zachary (age seven) and Adam (age 14 months). She will be sadly missed by her sister and very best friend Lucille Small, nephews Brett and Kevin Small, brothers Brian Robidoux and his family in Edmonton, AB, and Eugene Robidoux and his family in Red Deer, AB, as well as many nieces and nephews, all of Winnipeg, Toronto, and Alberta. Carol spent her whole life in the areas of the North End, and West Kildonan. Her first job was in the Valley Room Restaurant, in the old Eaton's building, where she worked as a cashier. She then continued her career at Dominion Foods on Main and Jefferson. She worked there for over 20 years. Carol went on to Red River College and obtained a Computerized Accounting Diploma. She worked at Hartford Drugs and Chicken Delight in the Green Brier Inn and then took an early retirement from Pharma Plus at the Medical Arts Building. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Royal Canadian Legion, West Kildonan Branch at 1748 Main St. from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff in the Medical and Surgical intensive care wards at St. Boniface Hospital where Carol spent the last few months of her life.
