ALMA ANN FIRTH November 27, 1941 - March 7, 2007 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Alma Ann Firth, passed away at Riverview Health Center after a short four weeks courageous battle with cancer. Alma is survived by her husband Alan; sister Shirley Howell (Peter); sons, Richard (Danusia), Anthony (Brenda); daughters, Susan Zarecki, Carolyne Dubas (Gord); grandchildren, Kimberly, Cyle, Travis, Mitchell and Ashton; great-grandson Thomas. Alma was predeceased by her mother and father Henry and Mary Campsell and son-in-law Bill Zarecki Jr. Alma loved dancing, activities with her family, caddying for her dad when golfing, but it was obvious after we were married that our children were her passion. In 1965, we immigrated to Canada, our new home and the most beautiful country in the world. Alma loved to fly, travel, and camp, where we could watch our children grow into the beautiful adults they are today. As our family expanded with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Alma encompassed all of us she had so much love to give and so much to live for, but God's plan was to take her from us into His arms with eternal love. Alma will be missed by all her family who grieve her passing. Friends and family can pay their respects on Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 4 Scotia St. A light lunch will be provided along with our welcome. Today, March 7, 2007, I said goodbye to my beautiful wife of 46 years leaving an ache in my heart which may never go away. Alma, you are the love of my life forever, attached to every fiber of my being. My love goes with you. May God bless you and keep you.
