HENRY PETER ALBRECHT Henry Peter Albrecht, at the age of 93, after a brief illness, died peacefully with his daughter at his side on March 7, 2007. Dad was predeceased by his young son Danny and his wife Margaret as well as his brothers, Peter and Abraham. He is survived by his daughter Anne and son-in-law Don and grandchildren, Jennifer and Ian. Dad lived an unconventional and fiercely independent life in the sixteen years since his wife died. He was secure in his faith in God and found, in his later years, a serenity and happiness that came through in almost any conversation with him. As Dad got older his world became smaller and his neighbourhood was his domain. He was a familiar sight riding his bicycle everywhere even until the fall of the year of his death. The neighbourhood also looked after him with generosity of spirit. He loved to drop in on the local businesses where most people found time for him and heard his familiar exhortation, Is everybody smiling You look better that way! There will be a private family service and interment at Brookside Cemetery beside his wife and son. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at N3W of Concordia Hospital.
