JANE STOCKS (nee GIBSON) November 17, 1920 ~ March 9, 2007 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Stocks on March 9, 2007 at Salem Home. Born November 17, 1920 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, she came to Canada as a War bride in 1946. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Clarence, her children, Lorna (Dave), Margaret, and Maureen (Dan); her grand-children, Monica, Duska, Shayla, Andrea (Chris), Kevin, Michael, Brett (Lindsay), Jennifer, and Felicia; and great-grandchildren, Mathew and Sarah. She was the oldest of seven children and is survived by her sisters, Josephine, Louise and Alice. Her feisty nature and irrepressible sense of humor were a constant source of smiles and chuckles for everyone who met her. We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff and the many friends we made at Salem Home for their compassion, loving care and support. Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will be held at the Salem Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
