CAN VAN 1952 - 2007 With deep sadness, the family of Can Van announces his passing on March 10, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn his passing, are wife Huynh Tran; son Anh Van, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. R. Stimpson, Dr. P. Czaykowski and his nurse Denise Klassen. A special thanks to the nurses in chemo treatment room at CancerCare Manitoba, the staff in GH5 and all his special friends for their support during his illness. Visitation and reception will be held on Wednesday, March 14 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Prayer and cremation service will take place on Thursday, March 15 at 9:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Can Van may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
