PAULINE CHOBOTAR Peacefully, with family at her side, Pauline Chobotar aged 81, passed away March 10 2007 at Holy Family Nursing Home. Peter, her husband of 59 years, devoted himself to lovingly caring for her every need over the last few years and will sadly miss her company and love. She also leaves behind her daughter, Jo-Ann Leighton and husband Al; as well as granddaughters, Katy, Mandy and Kristiann; her brother Peter Pushka and sister Gladys Bonchuk and many nieces and nephews. She was born October 27, 1925 in Angusville, MB and grew up on the family farm. She attended C.U.M.K. where she enjoyed Ukrainian dancing and meeting other youth including Peter, her husband. She was the oldest girl in her family and was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Peter and her stepbrothers, Fred, Paul, John, Bill, Mike (Holub), and brother Eugene. Pauline loved to spoil her grandchildren and spend time with them at their family cottage. She was famous for her chicken soup with dumplings and loved to cook traditional Ukrainian meals for others. Pauline loved to be surrounded with family and friends during holidays and special occasions. Pauline was a wonderful mom, a doting Baba and loving wife. Although God seems to have called her too soon, we know we will one day be together again with her in heaven. Please join us on Wednesday March 14, 2007 to celebrate Pauline's life. Viewing 1:30 p.m., funeral service at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment then a light lunch at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to The King's School. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111
