Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES MILLICENT CRAWFORD (nee SNYDER) On Friday, March 9, 2007, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Frances Crawford (formerly of Argyle) passed away peacefully at Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years Raymond of Stonewall; sons Ken and Don of Argyle, Rod of Winnipeg; daughter Rae (Raymond) Cormier of La Salle; grandsons, Kurt (Andrea) of Brandon, Darren (Angie and great-grandson Tyler), and Jared of Winnipeg; sister Dorothy (Cecil) Sanburn of Winnipeg. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mary Snyder of Argyle and her sister Aneita Fletcher of Stonewall. Frances was born April 27, 1920 at Gilbert Plains, Manitoba and moved with her family to Argyle in the spring of 1929 where she was raised and attended school. In July 1945 Frances and Raymond were married, eventually returning to settle and farm at Argyle in 1953. They resided there until their retirement to Lions Manor in Stonewall in October 1999. The family wishes to thank Frances Holm, Kitty Stewart, Elaine Grzenda, Laura-Lee Tataryn, Natina Pelletier and the staff at Rosewood Lodge for their compassionate care. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Stonewall United Church, 369 - 1st Ave. N., Stonewall, MB. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
