IAN STEWART TRENHOLM On Sunday, March 11, 2007, Ian gently passed away at the age of 76 at Health Sciences Centre after a battle with brain cancer. Ian was born in Grand Pre, Nova Scotia on April 27, 1930, predeceased by brother Bill and sister Maryann. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Joan Trenholm (nee Snider), daughters, Carol Graham-Mullin and Jill Baird. Cherishing his memory forever will be his grandson Todd Graham and granddaughter Katie Graham in Owen Sound, Ontario, his grandsons, Lucas and Creighton Baird and granddaughter Savannah Baird in Winnipeg. Ian and Joan also have two great-grandsons, Brody and Hayden Graham in Owen Sound. Ian thoroughly enjoyed time with family and friends, along with various community spirited projects including driving for CancerCare, board membership at his condominium residence and Charleswood Senior Centre, Creative Retirement Centre pursuits particularly computer interests, and coaching others. He was also involved in church activities at Westwood Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank all the staff on G5 Ward at Health Sciences Centre, along with many family and friends who assisted in this difficult time. Particular thanks to Rhonda Bosch, assistant pastor, for her personal compassion, frequent visits and numerous prayers. Following cremation there will be a memorial service at Westwood Presbyterian Church on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or Westwood Presbyterian Church.
