Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE WIEBE (nee REIMER) September 30, 1926 March 9, 2007 After a long illness, Anne Wiebe passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her father Peter Reimer and mother Margaret (nee Penner); sister Esther Koop and brother Tunney Reimer, husband John Wiebe and daughter Ferna Wiebe. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marilyn Schick (Wayne); Georgette Paré; and Marjorie Wiebe (Hamish McIntosh); grandchildren, Yanik (Melanie), John, Mathieu (Karin) Brendan, Sarah (Keith), Geneviève, Claire and Ian; siblings, Adeline Wiebe (Abe), Edward Reimer (Evelina) and Carol Marner. Anne was born in Clearsprings, near Steinbach, Manitoba. She married John Wiebe in 1946 and moved with him and his family to Carberry, Manitoba, where their four daughters were born. They lived in many places including Island Lake and Winnipeg, Manitoba; Calgary, Alberta and Kimberley, British Columbia. After her husband passed away, Anne returned to her place of birth. Anne's passion for education began early in life when she taught school in her own community. After raising her family, she grew an educational resource and material business, that she and her husband owned and operated from their school-house home in BC. We gratefully acknowledge the compassionate support that Anne and her family received from the staff at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home in Steinbach. We also want to thank Corey Wall at the Steinbach Funeral Home and Larry Hirst, chaplain at Bethesda for helping us through this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethesda Personal Care Home, Steinbach, Manitoba and at 2:30 p.m. at the Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg.
