Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD JOSEPH FRIESS July 25, 1929 - March 11, 2007 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Leonard on March 11, 2007. Leonard will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dee of 57 years; his daughters, Joan (Glenn), Peggy (Marvin); sons, John (Caroline), Jim (Sherry) and Ken (Joan); brother Robert; and sisters, Dorothy and Marion (Tom); grandchildren, Sean (Tess), Jay (Amanda), Carrie (Darren), Jim, Corey (Mindy), David (Lauren), Katie, Jennifer, Kristen, Alanna (Kevin) and Alden; and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chantelle, Kalobe, Keara, Rheanne and Alex. Pops worked at NorthWest Airlines for 37 years and enjoyed summers spent at their Island in Lake of the Woods. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. David Breckman.
